The devastating floods in Queensland have brought hardship to many people  and the full extent of the damage to lives, church, businesses and property will not be known for some time.

Moderator General David Jones has asked all to remember the people in the flood areas in private prayers and in prayers at public worship as they rebuild their communities following this devastation.

In order to support Christian brothers and sisters in that State The Presbyterian Church of Australia has urged congregations and individuals to

support the Flood Appeal of the Presbyterian Church of Queensland.
