Being responsible for the temporal affairs of the
Presbyterian Church in NSW categorises the Property Trust as a Christian
organisation with a focus on ministry. We will be financially successful
in supporting the work of the Gospel for our denomination. The Trustees
know that to produce sound results in the Trust we must not only constantly
deliver quality financial outcomes for depositors but must meet our
responsibilities to staff and the wider Presbyterian Church community
as well. We see this as fundamental to our long-term sustainability
and growth.
" Our vision is to be a valued financial and
business resource to Presbyterian Congregations and wider Church organisations.
" Our values are Christian integrity, service in fellowship, financial
performance and governance that brings glory to God.
" Our strategy aims to supply a satisfying customer experience
in delivering practical investment and lending solutions for the denomination
- providing the smart and safe place for Presbyterian assets.
Our Mission is to glorify God in the service of his people by ensuring
the proper performance of trusts and the responsible development of
available finance for the Presbyterian Church in NSW in accordance with
the Presbyterian Church (NSW) Property Trust Act, 1936 as amended and
other relevant legislation.
The function of the General Office and the Trustee's
Investment Fund (TIF) are inherently linked. The role of the General
Office is to provide effective management and efficient business resources
for the benefit of the Presbyterian Church throughout the State. It
is accountable through the General Manager to the Trustees of the Presbyterian
Church Property Trust in New South Wales. The General Office performs
compliant administrative and accounting tasks required for prudent investment
and protection of assets in the Trustee's Investment Fund, and elsewhere.
The fundamental purpose behind General Office responsibilities is the
building up and protection of temporal wealth to serve Christ's eternal
ends in Congregational and other Ministry through His Church.
The Customer Service Charter from the General Office and the TIF outlined
below is provided to assure the standards of performance you are entitled
